CNN Promotes Children’s Book That Portrays Santa Claus As a Gay Man

This doesn’t surprise me. Queers have this “inclusive” mentality…..include me in every faucet of life or I will whine, cry, piss and moan until you do. Never freakin’ ending.<ADMIN>

Leave it to CNN to politicize Christmas and Santa Claus. On CNN’s New Day Sunday, the show devoted a four-minute segment to the new children’s book, Santa’s Husband, which portrays Santa Claus as a gay man who gets married to another man who is black. That’s just obscene… not the race part, the homosexual and kids part. Why am I not surprised? They interviewed the author, Daniel Kibblesmith, and illustrator Ashley Quach, with Kibblesmith recalling that he was partially inspired to write the book because of the complaints that are made each year about a “war on Christmas.” Just wow. This is CNN.

CNN co-anchor Christi Paul plugged the interview: “There’s a new children’s book out this Christmas — takes us inside Santa’s wedding. We meet Santa’s husband David. We’re going to talk to the author and illustrator ahead.” They call it a fresh new twist. It’s twisted alright and a lot more. In the second plug, Paul and co-host Victor Blackwell both acknowledged that some people are “not so happy” about the book. Yeah, that would be the Christians. They are correct when they point out the book’s not so subtle political agenda. These people really hate Christmas.

Co-host Victor Blackwell asks people to imagine Santa and his spouse. I’m sure that the cover of this book is not what people imagined.

The author stated, “It was sort of inspired by the annual tradition we have in this country of pretending that there’s a giant war on Christmas, and that traditional Christmas is under attack. So, among other things, we were reading all of the news about the Mall of America hiring a black Santa Claus last year. And me and my now-wife made a joke on Twitter that, if we ever had a child, they would only know about black Santa Claus — and if they saw a white Santa Claus at the mall, we would just explain, “Well, that’s his husband.” And then Ashley and I knew each other from the Internet and from her illustration already, and she jumped into my Twitter mentions and said, “Boom — new book.”” Uh yeah… no. Fail.

When Blackwell asked his last question, he brought up criticism of the book alright… from a gay man who complained about the book being “patronizing” and “polarizing.” Not a question from Christians or people who like the traditional role of Santa Claus. Or parents who don’t want the gay agenda taught to their children.

Here’s the criticism that CNN’s Blackwell thought was pertinent: “I’m a gay man, and honestly the book is pretty patronizing and obviously meant to take two sweet things, the image of Santa Claus and love between two adults, and use them as a tool to express a political opinion in a polarizing way — especially the news anchor scene — in the guise of a children’s book. I find it overall patronizing, and I’m a little disgusted that the authors obviously used homosexuality as a political weapon to make a political statement under the cover of children.”

Gee, I’m disgusted because it’s not Christian, which after all is the whole point of… you know… Christmas. In the book, the elves have healthcare coverage, they settle labor disputes, climate change is addressed, and Rudolph and Frosty attend Santa and David’s wedding. It’s a progressive Christmas, y’all! Bonus, it’s a children’s book that is being used to promote homosexuality to children. This is one book I’m not ever going to read, buy or even touch.

I’m having a real issue with this book and what it pushes. I find it offensive on multiple levels. The author says the response and feedback has been incredibly positive. I guess that depends on who you get feedback from. It certainly wouldn’t be from me or anyone I know. No one is pretending at a war on Christmas. It exists and was in full bloom until President Trump came into office and made it okay again to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. These people slime every good thing they touch and it just figures that CNN would be pushing this bastardization of a Christian holy day. Shame on them.

Whatever happened to Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus? I’m surprised they didn’t also push the issues of abortion, gun control, open borders, etc. Maybe that’s in the sequel.
