MESMAC is the so-called charity in Leeds, in the North of England, that gets public money and tax-free status to supposedly “help” homosexuals and survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
In January 2018, one of its directors, Heathcliffe Bowen, was jailed for a string of child sex offences, committed while he was in the job, and many other allegations of the same sort were made to Leeds council.
In May 2018, one of the group’s subsidiaries, Project Blast, for boys and young men affected by childhood sexual abuse, had to be closed down. Its leader, Phil Mitchell, had been watched for some time by a group campaigning against pedophile films, and his reaction to this was to harass the people running it and stalk them. He got a warning from the police in December 2017 for this harassment.
After Project Blast was closed down in 2018, Phil Mitchell brazenly went on presenting himself as an author, a charity worker and an “expert” who is apparently getting funding from somewhere. Which one of the UK and EU charity organizations is stupid enough to hand out funds to these people?
He sees no irony in describing himself on his own website and on Twitter as a “Male Sexual Abuse Specialist”.
Project Blast was investigated in 2017 for saying that it was okay for staff members to have sexual relations with clients who came to the charity for help, so long as these relationships did not occur during work hours – inviting suspicion that the whole so-called “charity” is just a queer pick-up zone.
And as long ago as 1998 there was a motion tabled in Parliament deploring the fact that MESMAC was getting funding from the UK National Lottery and using it to hand out condoms to boys having underage relations with older men, including some boys as young as twelve operating as male prostitutes. Under the hypocritical guise of “sexual health advice” they are grooming rent-boys and encouraging the trade by every means possible.

In 2017 MESMAC and its subsidiary groups got nearly £400,000 from the UK National Lottery to promote their vile agenda.
